JANICE PERKINS Obituary

Janice L. Perkins, 81, a resident of Burlington, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Where the Heart Is.

Born May 10, 1930 in Seattle, Washington, she was the daughter of Russell and Mabel Davis.

She was raised in Seattle, Port Townsend and Lopez Island. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1947 and received her BA in Education from Western Washington College of Education, (now Western Washington University) in 1951.

On December 18, 1955 she married Gerald A. Perkins in Seattle. The Couple made their homes in Tacoma; Barstow, CA; Germany; Anacortes; Lopez Island and moved to Sedro-Woolley in 1987 where she lived until recently.

Janice was a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1987.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Tammy Perkins of Vancouver, WA and Frank & Tanya Perkins of Goodyear, AZ; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathryn & Mark Sutton of Sedro-Woolley, WA and Susan & Dewayne Seese of Burlington, WA; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

At her request, no services will be held.

Remembrances are suggest to Helping Hands Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hulbush Funeral Home, Burlington.
