Jacob Calvin Jeter, age 6, of Anacortes, Washington, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Providence Medical Center in Everett, Washington as a result of an accident on Lake Goodwin in Snohomish County.

He was born on May 7, 2004 in Santa Barbara, California, to Russell and Kimberly (Schneider) Jeter.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes and also from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Evans Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Anacortes First Baptist Church, 2717 J Avenue, with a reception to follow at the church.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands.

Dear Kim and Russ,
We have never met, but my husband and I own 5638 on Campbell Lake Rd. We watched you build your beautiful home and on several occasions I have been behind the school bus where I saw your beautiful son jump down the steps and eagerly run through the gates into your home. I can't tell you how saddened we are by your loss, we hope you are comforted in this time of sadness with all your happy memories. We both lost siblings at an early age and we feel for you.
