Kathryn DeMan Obituary

Kathryn "Kathy" Lee DeMan, 80, of Anacortes, Washington died peacefully Sunday, February 13, 2011 at her home in Anacortes, after a courageous five year battle with breast cancer.

She was born on December 18, 1930, the daughter of Thomas and Dana (Webb) Lee in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dana Lee; sisters, Gen, Ann, Lou, and Mack; and brothers, Stan and Woodie.

She is survived by her husband, John DeMan; her sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Mendez, Joe Mendez and Joyce Trimboli, David Mendez, and Chris and Linda Mendez.

The family wishes to thank the Island Hospital Cancer Center and Home Health and Hospice of the Northwest for their kind help and support.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
