NANCY STRIPLING Obituary

Nancy Louise Stripling, 72 of Anacortes, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at Island Hospital in Anacortes. She was born on April 25, 1939 in Mount Vernon, Washington, the daughter of Lloyd and Verlie (Neal) Nokleby.

Nancy loved life. In the 60's Nancy was employed as a Nurses Aide at Northern State Hospital and later worked as a bank teller and florist. She enjoyed making floral arrangements and giving them to family and friends and she loved her squirrels. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her she had so much love in her heart for everyone.

Nancy was preceded in death by her older sister, Joann.

She is survived by her brothers, Bud Nokleby and Jerry Nokleby; and her sister, Rebecca Preheim.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands.
