Bruce Oliver Brink passed away on April 18, 2014 at Life Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Washington. Bruce was born on August 21, 1934 in Hickman Nebraska to Henry and Grace Brink.

Bruce grew up in Sedro- Woolley, Washington. He graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in 1953. Bruce was the State Champion Wrestler in 1953 weight class 163 for the Sedro-Woolley Cubs.
After high school he joined the Army and served for 4 years. Bruce was the recipient of the National Defense Service Metal. He was Discharged in 1956 achieving the rank of Paratrooper. He was a rifleman in the 505th Airborne Infantry Regiment, a unit of the 82nd Airborne Division "America's Guard of Honor".
Bruce began working in Alaska as a logger for 35 years. Bruce was also a member of the Mason Fraternity Lodge #93. He enjoyed riding his bike and volunteering at the museum in Sedro-Woolley.
Bruce married Wendy Morgan in 1968 and was happily married for 25 years.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Wendy, brother Keith Brink and his parents, Hank and Grace Brink.
Bruce is survived by his son Brandon Brink of Montesano, Washington Robyn McClennnan(Con) of Ketchikan, Alaska and Angie Brink of Marysville, Washington. Bruce also had grandchildren Nichole, David, Kaleigh, Shelby, Alicia, John, Kiana, Charlotte and Skyler. Bruce also had 3 great-grandson's Wyatt Tristin and Levi. Numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at The Eagles in Sedro-Woolley at 1:00 pm on May 25, 2014. It will be a potluck so bring a dish to share and bring your memories of Bruce.
