Dorothy Eileen Miller, 77, of Mount Vernon, WA, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 13, 2013. She was born October 5, 1935, to Ernest and Esther Waldogal in Wallace, Idaho.

On February 8, 1952, she married Clinton E. Miller. They had three children, Clinton Gene Miller of Mount Vernon, WA; Gregory Allen Miller of Sedro Woolley, WA; and Cindy Lou Wright of Enumclaw, WA.
In 1958, Dorothy and her family moved to Mount Vernon, WA where she was a homemaker until 1969. At that time, she joined Union #788 and worked in a cold storage facility, then worked at Mira Vista Convalescent Center as a nurse's aide, and later worked as a visiting nurse. Prior to his death in 2002, Mrs. Miller assisted her husband in running his business, CEM Heating.
Dorothy was a loving wife and companion, mother and grandmother. Her greatest job was watching her grandchildren participate in sports activities, including baseball and rodeo. She always enjoyed camping, whether it was in a canvas tent or motor home.
She belonged to the Women of the Moose, Chapter 383, where she enjoyed dancing. Dorothy was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary, and the Elks USA.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband.
Surviving family members include her two sons, Clinton G. Miller and his wife, Louise, Gregory A. Miller and his wife, Linda; daughter, Cindy Lou Wright and her husband, Mike; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and her companion Floyd Duncan.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fraternal of Eagles, 119 North Cherry Street, Burlington, WA 98233.
