Gordon Elton Rothenbuhler, 79, of Sedro-Woolley, WA, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013, at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley.
Gordon was born on November 13, 1933, in Wickersham, WA, to Walter and Pearl Rothenbuhler.
He married Lorraine McDougle on December 22, 1951, in Sedro-Woolley. He worked in the timber industry, and later became a Journeyman Pipefitter.
Gordon also volunteered at the Sedro-Woolley Museum and was a rural Volunteer fireman. He had a passion for his old antique cars, traveling, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. His family and extended family were very important to him. He lived life to the fullest. What a mischievous prankster. We miss him.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorraine Rothenbuhler; son, Gary Rothenbuhler, of Sedro-Woolley; daughters, Mary Lou Brand, of Lewiston, MT, and Karen Rothenbuhler, of Seattle; brother, Bruce Rothenbuhler; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, whom he dearly loved.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2013, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, followed by a Committal at Saxon Cemetery, Acme. A time of visitation will be available from 9:00 to 5:00, Tue., Wed. and Thurs. at Lemley Chapel.
