Jim, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was truly a family man. Camping and boating were favorite pastimes.

He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up there.
Jim passed away Sunday, April 20, at Birchview Memory Care.
At seventeen he joined the Navy and the ship was on the way to invade Japan when the atomic bomb was dropped. After discharge he went to the University of New Mexico where he met Frances (Frankie) Martin, his future wife. They were married in 1951 and wen to the University of Florida where he obtained his Masters Degree. Jim had a unique creative ability and worked with architects to make unusual, large, facade panels. Working at Hyrdo-Conduit Corp, his creativeness continued and many large buildings are finished with his designs in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
Jim and Frankie have three children: Sondra (Ed Stauffer), Kim (Alex Vasauskas) and Steven; and two grandchildren, Nicole (Paul Nash) and great-grandson, Robert Nash, and Joseph Stauffer (Maren Dahl), with great-grandchildren triplets, James, Mark and Stella Stauffer. Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frankie.
