SARAI LARA Obituary
Sarai Lara age 16, passed away September 23, 2016. She was born in Mount Vernon to Eva and Salvador Lara.
Sarai was a student at Mount Vernon High School.
She enjoyed school and babysitting her young nephew and helping her mother.
She is survived by her parents; sisters, Soledad and Allison; her brother, Salvadore Jr.; and nephew, Jovani Soto.
Viewing will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 30, 2016, 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church with a Graveside to follow at Hawthorne Memorial Park.
Sarai was a victim of the Cascade Mall schooting on September 23, 2016.
A memorial fund has been set up at Skagit Bank in the name of Sarai Lara to help with family expenses. Donations may be made at any Skagit Bank location.
Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral home, Mount Vernon, WA.
