Anna Mae Abrahamson, 88, of Mount Vernon, Wa went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Jerrianne West Adult Family Home, Poulsbo, WA.

She was born March 15, 1924 in Arlington, WA to Pete and Ellen Freeman. She was raised in Anacortes, Wa, graduating from Anacortes High School in 1942.
On November 20, 1943, Anna married Albert N. Abrahamson in Arlington, WA.
Ann was a very active member of the First Baptist Church, Mount Vernon for more than 50 years, and belonged to the Skagit Squares Dance Club.
Ann and her husband Al wintered in Mesa, Arizona for many years upon retirement. They enjoyed golfing, swimming, bike riding, and traveling with friends and family.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 2001; her mother and step-father, Ellen and "Stub" Storme; her father Pete Freeman; and her sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Clarence Jackson.
She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Sara; her son Daniel Abrahamson; her daughter Carol Thompson and her husband Hunter; grandson Casey Thorene and his wife Heather; grandson Scott Thorene; and great-grandson Connor.
Viewing will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, 10:00 am at Hawthorne Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11:00am in Hawthorne Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon.
