David Hough, of Big Lake, passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2014 with his immediate family members at his side.

David was born on March 26, 1944 in Sedro-Woolley to Clark and Rose Hough.
After graduating from Burlington-Edison High School in the class of 1962, he continued his education at Skagit Valley College graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology in 1964. He began his career with Skagit County in the engineering department, and 30 years later finished his career as Skagit County Director of Planning.
In 1965-1971 he proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves. David met the love of his life, the former Eileen Gallagher, in Missoula, Montana, and they were married on February 14, 1970.
David is survived by his sons, Justin Hough and Brian Hough, his wife Michelle Hough and two grandchildren Maddison and Connor; also survived by his brother Steve and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clark and Rose and his two older brothers Jerry and Jim.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
