DONALD HUFFERD Obituary

01/06/53 - 04/29/11

Donald passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, WA, from a ten year battle with lung disease, with his family at his side when God called him home.

He was a Mount Vernon graduate with the class of 1972.

He was a Navy brat, born in Wichita, Kansas to Donal and Sylvia (Patten) Hufferd.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and grandparents and grandson Devon McCoy.

He is survived by his mother, of Sedro-Woolley, WA, his angel Linda of Bow, WA, his daughter, Dawn (Jason) children Jordan and Autumn McCoy of Sedro-Woolley, WA, son, Matthew of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Brothers, David of Mount Vernon, WA, Jack of Shreveport, LA, his sister, Pamela Stokes of Orcas Island. Nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held a the Avon United Methodist Church on Avon Allen Road, Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Edd Denton officiating.
