DOROTHY HEALY Obituary

Dorothy Lovern Healy went to be with her Lord on April 6th 2011 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She has been reunited with her loving husband Jim and her infant son Timothy Joseph who preceded her in death.

She leaves behind 7 children, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren all of whom she loved in her own way.

She was truly a loving friend and confidant to all her "babies" in AA. She will be missed by many.

A memorial mass will be held at her church The Immaculate Heart of Mary date and time to be announced.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Burton Care Center for the loving and tender care they provided our mother and father when we needed them. A special thanks to Joni, Shannon and Janet who provided a source of comfort when she so desperately needed it.

May God continue to hold her in the palm of His hand.

Mrs. Healy.. I remember growing up with her very close to my mom. Her daughter, Bridget was like an aunt to me & we would visit often as a family. On occasion I was lucky enough to visit alone, on these days we would spend time outside & she would teach me to water color. We would make cards & pictures of flowers from the garden. I remember always asking to go and visit! These memories are fond ones & I will treasure them forever. Although I was very sad to learn of her passing, I am grateful that she is now pain free & gets to watch over her family & friends. Mrs. Healy, you were a very special woman to me & you will be missed truly. By me & many others I am sure. Rest in Peace.
