Jerome R. Lange (Jerry), 71, was born to Henry and Cecelia (Hirsch) Lange in Bismarck, North Dakota on April 7, 1942 and passed on to join The Lord on November 18, 2013 in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Jerry and his brother Leroy Lange along with their parents moved to Seattle in 1947, and found residency in Mount Vernon in the 1950's where he stayed to raise his family.
Jerry was a member of the first of the graduating classes of Immaculate Conception School. Jerry went on to graduate from Skagit Valley Community College with an Associates Degree.
Jerry worked for the Skagit County PUD for 35 years. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church; including facilitating, along with his wife, pre-marriage classes for the church, and participating as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Jerry was also involved as a Foster Parent to many children, Community Citizens Patrol through the Mount Vernon Police Department and a Volunteer with the Church Food Bank.
Jerry was known to be a caring and sensitive man. He enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and giving back to our local community. While his physical abilities were slowed later in life, due to his struggle with advanced Parkinson's Disease, he continued to enjoy walks with his childhood friend Tom.
Jerry is survived by his wife and partner of 31 years, Susan; sons: Jordan Lange and Brandon Lange of Mount Vernon, Scott Greene (Jasmine) of Bellingham, and Marke Greene (Angela) of Seattle; daughters: Becki Lange-Holmes (Dan) of Hermosa Beach, CA, and Stefani Koetje (Robin) of Edmonds; 6 grandchildren: Isaac and Lucy Holmes, Anastasia and Dominic Greene, Dorothea and Daphne Koetje; Nephew: Nicholas Lange (Melissa).
Rosary service will begin at 11:35 a.m. preceding the Funeral Mass, 12:15 a.m., on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, with committal service to follow the same day at Hawthorne Memorial Park. Please join the family for a reception to follow services at Hawthorne Reception Room.
Memorials can be made in Jerry's name to Immaculate Conception School, 1321 E. Division, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
