Marilouise Lowry died peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Anacortes, Washington at the age of 87.

She was born on November 4, 1924 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Leo and Dorothy (Wright) Coffenberry.
Marilouise grew up in Doris, California, graduating as the high school valedictorian.
As an adult she attended Mills College in California, where she met and married James Lowry, her Navy sweetheart in 1944. They moved to Redding, CA in 1955 where they lived for 51 years.
Her favorite memories were of being a Sunday school teacher, catching the biggest salmon in the family, and the annual family camping trips to the Pacific Coast. She was a wise and devoted mother with a great sense of humor.
Marilouise was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James; her parents, Leo and Dorothy Coffenberry; brother, Lloyd Coffenberry; and sister, Joannie Coffenberry.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana Lowry and Robert Trueman; grandchildren, Trisha Bowen and Erika Bowen; and her great-grandchild, Shawn Bowen.
The family extends a very special thanks to San Juan Rehab and Care Center staff for the loving care she received and to Marilyn Christianson, pastor of the Living Rock Foursquare Church.
Interment will be at Lawncrest Memorial Cemetery in Redding, CA.
