My name is Sheila Ridgway. Maureen was my babysitter and, later, my confirmation sponsor. I chose her because I admired her so much.

I was just thinking of her the day before I received this news.

This woman was incredibly important to me when I was a little girl.

To Maureen, my hero.

From your admirer,

Sheila

Maureen, I will always remember our family get togethers growing up. You were always a good listener and friend. Maureen I always admired your ability to practice restraint and common sense when none of the rest of us could.

My Mama Moe, you were so much more than just a mother in law. You were my safe place, my everyday companion, my go-to for good news and my comfort for the bad. You were my rock. I am missing you terribly every single day and love you so much. Your loving spirit goes on, I see it every day in our children, your grandchildren and we promise to make you proud! Love you Always-
