SALLY ROBERTA WESTMAN

1953 - 2011

Sally Roberta Westman, 57, of Point Blank, TX died on March 17, 2011 after a battle with cancer at Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville, TX. She was born in Sedro Woolley, WA to Horace "Hod" and Leona Wood on July 21, 1953.

Sally graduated from University of Puget Sound with a Degree in Occupational Therapy. She enjoyed a variety of positions including managing Senior Centers in Sedro Woolley WA, Blaine WA and Point Roberts WA. Sally was a banker at People's Bank in Bellingham, WA. She and her husband opened Hannesson's Restaurant in Colville, WA, and she managed the Front Desk at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Reno NV. Most recently she was an Administrative Assistant at the Huntsville Placement and Release Unit in Huntsville TX.

Sally loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and bowling with friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She excelled at teaching and enjoyed reading and crochet.

She is survived by her Husband Sgt. James Westman, Walls Unit, of Point Blank, TX, Son Aaron Westman of Brentwood, CA, Daughter and Son-in-Law Christy & Travis Lindsley of Chewelah, WA, Daughter Julie Haehn of Seattle, WA, Son and Daughter-in-Law Lucas Haehn & Sze Nga Hung of Reno, NV, Grandchildren Gabriel and Rosemary Haehn, and Brother and Sister-in-law Doug & Stephanie Wood of Sedro Woolley, WA.
