THOMAS KEAN Obituary

Thomas J. Kean, age 97, of Bellingham, formerly of Birch Bay, passed away April 12, 2011, at a Bellingham care center. Tom was born May 21, 1913, in Mount Vernon, WA, to George and Anna (Doolittle) Kean.

He married Vivian Vhee Phillips on August 19, 1939 and she preceded him in death on March 13, 1998. He is also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Carol J. Kean.

Survivors include his children, Tom (Jan) Kean and his children, Lisa, Laura, and Bryan; Linda (Bob) Gudmundson and their children, Shawna, Patrick, Kate, and Ryan, and Jim Kean and his children, Todd and Trisha; and 18 great grandchildren.
Tom was Past Master of the Ferndale Masonic Lodge # 264 and Past Rainbow Dad.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 15, at Custer United Methodist Church.
