Donald "Bud" H. Anderson, age 79, a life long resident of Skagit Valley passed away May 19, 2014 after a long illness. He was the son of Harvey and Agnes Fox Anderson, born June 14, 1934 in Mount Vernon, Washington.

He served 2 years in the military stationed at Pearl Harbor. Worked for Skagit County Public Works, Publishers Paper Plywood Mill, Anacortes. He returned to work for Skagit County until retirement. He Retired after 30 years as a volunteer Fire Fighter in Mount Vernon.
He loved gardening and puttering around the house, loved fishing and just visiting with people.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Anderson, Larry Anderson, Daughter in laws, Leanna and Carolyn, grandson Ian Anderson, sister, Doris Higgins friend and companion, Bonnie Belgard.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan and brother Harvey Anderson.
He married Joan Alice Anderson February 11, 1961.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and an active member of the Catholic church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 12:15pm at Immaculate Conception Church Mount Vernon, WA followed by a Graveside Service at Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mount Vernon and a reception in the Hawthorne Reception Room.
