Patricia Ann (Myrick) Antioquia, Pat, of Anacortes, passed Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the age of 72.
She was born in Kake, Alaska, and spent much of her life in Juneau, with her husband, Clay, raising their three children. Since 2001, Pat and Clay have resided in Anacortes, WA, enjoying retirement. Pat graduated from Juneau Douglas High School in 1959 and moved to Seattle, WA, to attend Griffin School of Business, where she met Clay. In October 1961 they married in Juneau. This year they would have celebrated their 53rd anniversary.
She will be remembered as a loving, generous, beautiful matriarch, with a quick wit and infectious laugh.
Pat is survived by her husband, Clay; daughters, Deanne Antioquia and Melanie Greer (husband Lance); son, Todd Antioquia (husband Brendan Sullivan); sisters, Christina Henning and Kathy Myrick; uncle, Raymond "Shawaan" Jackson; aunties, Frances Williams and Lena Skeek; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daisy and Jim Myrick; brother, Clarence Jackson; sister, Ella (Myrick) Frankson; and numerous aunties and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Anacortes.
Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands.
