Jerry Eerkes, former Bow resident, passed away November 8th, 2012 in Seattle.

He was born in Lynden in 1927, graduated from Lynden High School before serving in the Navy in the South Pacific.

In 1950 he graduated from UW and married his college sweetheart, Pam. They moved to the Tri-Cities where he founded Tri-City Oil Co., distributing petroleum products.

In 1994 they moved to Bow, where Jerry enjoyed his collection of antique cars and trucks.

Jerry had a wonderful life full of family and friends. He will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched, and had known his big smile and gentle nature.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam; son, Craig (Marilee) of Kennewick; daughter Kristin (Paul) of Seattle, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

His son, Jim and granddaughter, Laura, preceded him in death.

A private family burial will be held in Kennewick, and a celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Mirabella Retirement Home in Seattle on December 1st.
