Born on Aug. 1, 1926 to Doris Ann (Hawkins) and Ray Forrest Greathouse.
Married Bud Kollman in Seattle in 1955 then moved to the Upper Skagit Valley in 1960. They settled in Concrete where she lived for 43 years until she moved to the LaConner area in 2003.
Mary worked as a fire crew cook for DNR and a cook for PORTAL at Northern State.
She was involved in many activities and crafts through the years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Concrete Library and the Book Nook in LaConner. She was also very proud to have been a charter member of the Concrete Saturday Market and a member of TOPS.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, daughter Linda, son David and "adopted" daughter Brenda.
Mary leaves behind a son Tony (Tina) Kollman, Phoenix, her daughters Laura (Lewis) Hill, Mount Vernon, Nickie Ray, Mount Vernon, Becky Dolan, Concrete. The delights of her life were her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, a very special loving friend Carol O and many, many other great friends.
We love you Mom and Nana. You will be missed.
Memorial Service to be held at the Bayview Civic Hall, 12615 C St., Bayview, Sunday, Nov. 18 at 3pm.
