The 104 year life for Rena June (Parker) Aldridge began on May 12, 1909 in a farmhouse near Preston, Kansas. This very full-filled life slipped quietly and peacefully away on September 10, 2013 in her home near Sedro Woolley, Washington.

Her biography fills many pages. She was the eldest daughter born into the Charles C. Parker family.

She was a graduate of Business School in Woodward, Oklahoma. Her passions were her grandchildren, cooking and canning, oil painting, crafts and gardening. She was a member of the Cascade Christian Church.

She married L. Glenn Aldridge on October 29, 1931 and was preceded in death by him on July 14, 1992.

She is survived by two daughters Glenda and Kathryn, one son-in-law (Glenda's husband) Commander Allen Linzay, U.S. Navy (Retired). She was also survived by three of seven brothers and their wives: Lynn and Delores, Nolan and Bonnie, and Cleve and Janette. Her surviving grandchildren were Perry and Elaine, Denise, Debora, and Laura; great-grandchildren Kathryn, John, Katelynn, Kelsey, Heather, Bethany, Steven, David, and one great-great-grandchild Caiden.

Cremation and Interment services were under the direction Hawthorne Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Mount Vernon, Washington.

Memorial services will be held at the Central Valley Assembly Of God Church, Burlington, Washington, on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
