1936 – 2012
Clint was born July 10, 1936, in Gregory, South Dakota, to Frank and Florence Nelson. He passed on December 28, 2012.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of 53 years; his daughter, Susan (Richard) Gentz; sons, Thomas (Stacey) and Robert; sister, Linda; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Dean.
Clint resided in Pico Rivera, Ca, where he worked for Pacific Bell as a PBX installer. In 1975 he moved the family to Ramona where he continued to work for Pacific Bell and then AT&T until 1989.
Some of Clint's hobbies included gardening, fishing, traveling in their various RV vehicles and riding historical trains. In his retirement years, he volunteered to do bread deliveries for the Ramona Senior Center. He enjoyed playing Bridge there as well. He made many friends during his morning visits to KD Donuts.
Clint was loved and will forever be in our thoughts and memories.
A private family memorial will be held in mid-January.

To the Family,
Clint is already missed by those who knew him and he will continue to be greatly missed. It was a pleasure to have known him for more than 35 years. I always enjoyed the many interesting conversations we shared. He was such a caring person who selfishy lended a hand wherever he was needed. May you find peace by remembering all the wonderful moments you shared together.
My sincere condolences,
Wayne(the Barber)

Clint, it is hard to describe how much your friends miss you. Never a burden for our society, full of quiet humor and expertise from your long life of work, always willing to share and help. From your garden products, to your tools, to your knowledge. People do not come any better than you.
We deeply miss you , but you always will be in our memories as someone who gave more than he took.

Clint, you are genuinely missed at the donut shop EVERY morning as Walter, "Siggy" and myself have our morning coffee and discuss "world events" just like you would remember. I, personally, will remember for a long time, the story about the family goat that had to ride along outside your parents' car on your family trips as a youngster so that you would have milk to drink- - -amazing ingenuity! Lyle remembers you fondly when we get to talk with him - - -I can only imagine what that PacBell crew must have been like. May you have a very peaceful rest - - -you've earned it.
