Betty was my cousin on my grandmothers side. When I was in San Diego in 2003 , I got a chance to meet her and her beautiful family. She had the most funny , warm and kind spirit.

Bettye always created a stir when she visited Sequoia Elementary. Lots of ooh's and whispers from the kids "that's Mr. Roys mom" or "that's Miss Roy's grandma". You've touched alot of lives...Rest in Peace. Cheri Pomerantz

Betty Boo, you are batting a thousand. You are with your Lord up above walking those streets of gold. Save us a place Betty, we will be there. I loved it when you and I talked about you when you were little and your dad put you on the train and you traveled back and forth to see both grandmas. You traveled for free because your dad worked for the railroad. I loved all your stories. My heart is sad but our memories will keep me going. I truly loved you. Rest In Peace and wait for me, my love. Judy Johnson

We will miss you Betty! Miss your smile, charm and how much you loved your family and people. I am glad that the last time I saw you, you were smiling and having a great time. I will always cherish and remember you that way. I know you are in the loving peace of our Lord and Savior.
I prey that Greg, Melisa and Charles always cherish the time they had with Betty and take comfort that she is in better place.

Are hearts are heavy from the loss of Bettye. When she and my mom Verna first met they became fast friends. She was the sweetest and most fun-loving lady we have ever known. When she came to North Carolina a few years back we all had the best time, especially eating those crab legs and when she met Vera my mom's sister and all their friends at the Senior Center. We will miss her but know she is where she lived her life to be... in Heaven.
