Julia Ann Patrick, 86, of Rancho Bernardo, passed away on May 26, 2014, in Rancho Bernardo, CA.|
Judy, as she was known by all, was born in Noblesville, Indiana, to Scott and Azalia Stevenson on December 7, 1927. She went to New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL, before transferring to Lion's Township in La Grange, IL, in her Junior year. There she and Milt Patrick met, became high school sweethearts, became engaged on Grad night, and then married two years later on Milt's 20th birthday. After 56 years of marriage, Milt succumbed to cancer in 2003.
Judy and Milt were very involved in the golfing community and were active members of the RB Country Club in RB in the 1980s and 1990s, and Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, CA, in the 1990s and early 2000s. Judy had the distinction of making two holes-in-one in her lifetime.
Judy served as President of the RB Chapter of Questers; was very active in the Assistance League of Inland North County; and was a member of RBCPC. Her other interests included bridge, gardening, reading, sewing and cooking, just to name a few.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Milt, in 2003, and son, Larry, in 2000.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Jane Runyon of Columbus, OH, and daughters, Caren Patrick of Sunnyvale, CA, and Janice Patrick of RB.
Caren and Janice wish to extend their gratitude to The Elizabeth Hospice and Casa de las Campanas Palmer Center for their support in her final days.
