Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, Harold Swenson passed away on May 14, 2012, at his home in Ramona, CA. Harold was born on June 17, 1928, in Long Beach, CA, where he grew up. His parents were John and Mildred Swenson. He had three siblings, Phill, Carolyn and James.
Harold joined the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in 1951 and retired in 1983 after accomplishing the rank of Lieutenant. He served most of his 33 year career at the Lakewood Sheriff's Station in Lakewood, CA.
He is survived by his wife, Jerrie Swenson; four children, Karen, Amanda, Ethan and Elaine; three stepchildren, Wayne, Kenny and Linda; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held May 23, 2012.
