Krista Marie Groh

1967 - 2019

Krista Groh, 51, of Bay City, MI, unexpectedly passed away in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on January 20, 2019. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie in May of 1967, and is now resting in peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
 Krista held various degrees in Nursing and Psychology from Central Michigan University and Lake Superior State University, and had worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in the Saginaw/Bay City area. Krista was also gifted in music, singing, and acting, and had been involved with various community theater groups over the years. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, writing poetry, camping, warm beaches, and cooking - especially the holiday meals she would often prepare for her friends. Krista loved small animals, particularly birds, hedge hogs, and mice, all of which she had as pets at one time or another. Most importantly, she loved God, and loved her family and friends.
Krista is survived by her brothers, Norman (Lori) Groh of St. Louis, MO, and David (Angela) Groh of Milwaukee, WI, along with many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles. 
Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Arline Groh (Jollineau), of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, along with a few dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service in Sault Ste. Marie is being planned for sometime in August 2019, and the details will be communicated at a later time.
