Julia E Bell

Julia E. Bell passed away unexpectedly at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on November 29, 2018. She was born on January 15, 1946.
Julia graduated from Rudyard High School, had a Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University and a Master's Degree from Northern Michigan University.
She was an elementary teacher and taught in Sault Ste. Marie and Alpena. Julia is survived by her husband Robert Bell whom she married on June 14, 1969, son Alan (Jill) Bell of Davisburg, Michigan, granddaughter Avery Bell, grandson Brendan Bell, and brother Al Beamish of Dafter. She was predeceased by her parents William and Dora Beamish, and granddaughter Peyton Bell.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 5 at C. S. Mulder Funeral Home, 4951 South M-129, Sault Ste. Marie, 11 a.m. with Robert Hunter officiating. There will be calling hours at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 4, 4-9 p.m.
Julia Bell was a member of the Dafter Presbyterian Church, Michigan Education Association-Retired, NEA-Retired, Delta Kappa Gamma, and the Monday Morning Singers.
She was noted for preparing and serving fabulous meals to family and friends.
She greatly enjoyed raising flowers. And she will be remembered as a doting grandmother and competitive card player.
