Mary Kay McComish Aug. 13, 1941 - July 9, 2014 ELKHART - Mary Kay McComish, 72, of Elkhart, passed away July 9, 2014 at the Elkhart Hospice House. She was born August 13, 1941 in Wausau, WI to Patrick and Catherine (Stoltz) Jarvis. She married John P. McComish who preceded her in death. Surviving are 4 daughters, Molly Krah and Colleen Lapierre of Elkhart, Katie (Jimmy) Robinson of Milwaukee, WI and Kelly (Mark) Weldy of Elkhart, and a son, Mike McComish of South Bend. 11 grandchildren, Erin, Freddie, Andrew, Reyna, Michael, Maria, Nicholas, Mia, Maggie, Kasey and Brady and a sister, Nancy (Nick) Tsoris of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Michael Tsoris. Mary Kay was currently employed at Warrick Corporation where she worked for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was an avid bridge player. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13th from 2-6 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 1:45 pm. Visitation will also be an hour prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am Monday, July 14th at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Bristol. Father Bob VanKempen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Rodriguez, Sheila Fleming and the rest of the Michiana Hematology/Oncology staff for their love & support.
