MISHAWAKA - Judith Lynn Francis, 61, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, in her home. She was born on September 18, 1951, in South Bend, IN, to Stanley and Elsie (Trimel) Tarwacki. On August 15, 1996, in South Bend, IN, she married Thomas Francis, who survives. Mrs. Francis is also survived by four daughters, Kimberly (Dave) Young, Angela (Stewart) Young, Michelle (Ryan) Taylor and Melissa (Randy Rose) Webb, all of South Bend, IN; son, Robert Young of Mishawaka, IN; three stepchildren, Wendy Francis, Joseph (Dawn) Rose and Dusty Rose, all of South Bend; twenty-six grandchildren & three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janet (Scott) Blacharski of Crystal River, FL, Maryann (James) Swihart of South Bend, IN, and Margaret (Joseph) Holleran of Webster, NY; and six brothers, Jerry (Barbara) Tarwacki of South Bend, IN, Bob (Nancy) Tarwacki of Rochester, NY, John (Carol) Tarwacki of South Bend, Mike (Patty) Tarwacki of North Liberty, IN, Mark (Deborah) Tarwacki of Rochester, NY, and Butch (Linda) Tarwacki of Ocala, FL. Mrs. Francis was a lifelong resident. She formerly worked as a scale manager at Indiana Auto Salvage, but later was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends for two hours prior in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Judith Lynn Francis may be offered to the family in c/o Palmer Funeral Home to help with funeral costs. I miss you so much mom...as i covered you with the cover and Tommy and i looked on you for the last time as we closed the casket my heart was breaking...not only for myself but for Tommy as well
