BREMEN - Casimir Chrzan, 81, of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his home. He was born to Casimir and Clara Chrzan on December 1, 1931 in South Bend. On February 3, 1984 Casimir married JoAnn Shaw; she survives. Casimir worked for Uniroyal for 37 1/2 years and filled many positions over the years. He enjoyed woodworking, building bird houses, fishing, traveling, and just tinkering in general. Casimir also enjoyed his winters in Florida and loved spending time with his family. Casimir is survived by his wife, JoAnn Chrzan of Bremen; a son, Gary Chrzan of Bremen; a daughter, Cheryl Chrzan of Bremen; two stepsons, Robert (Kathy) Suchovsky and Scott (Judy) Suchovsky, both of Mishawaka; two daughters-in-law, Judy Chrzan of South Bend and Nancy Chrzan of Bremen, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Larry Chrzan and Jerry Chrzan; a granddaughter, Heather Mangun; and four brothers, Ray Chrzan, Ervin Chrzan, Daniel Chrzan, and Chet Chrzan. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Friends may call from 11-2 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Center for Hospice Care. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mishlerfuneralhomes.com.

thoughts and prayers to the Chrzan family. I remember Mr. Chrzan taking a few of Larry, Jerry and Cheryl's friends to the beach and always had a great time. He always knew how to make us laugh. I know he will be greatly miss by all those who knew him. Love and prayers,
