BREMEN - Herbert Kline, 90, of Bremen, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 18, 1922 to Melvin and Arvilla (Rector) Kline in Union Township. Herbert married Frieda F. Weil on January 6, 1942. Herbert was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodland. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and watching the Colts and the Cubs play. He also loved spending winters in Texas. Herbert is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Stephen) Sharpee of Lakeville; four sons, Jerry "Jake" (Dorothy) Kline of Bremen, Richard (Kay) Kline of South Bend, Donald (Patsy) Kline of Etna Green, and Bob (Jean) Kline of Bremen; fifteen grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Kline of Wakarusa and Harold Kline of Avon Park, FL; and a sister, Doris Masterson of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frieda; and a grandchild. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodland at 10:00 AM. Pastor Karl Brenner will officiate the service with the burial following in the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 PM on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Memorials may be given to Center for Hospice or St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Woodland. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Kline was a very nice man, I work with him at Dodge manufacturing in Mishawaka, IN. I am sure he is in good company with God
