Nava, Mary  
Mary F. Nava Sept. 4, 1948 - June 25, 2015 GRANGER - Mary F. Nava, 66, residing in Granger, passed away at 10:40 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015, in her home of natural causes. She was born September 4, 1948, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late W. P. and Dorothy (Hooker) Furlong. On February 2, 1971, in Mexico, Mary married Daniel Nava, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Michelle Ogle of Mishawaka; son, Daniel P. Nava of Franklin, IN; and grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan and Nolan Ogle, and Jacob, Charles and Nicolas Nava. Mary was a Spanish teacher in the Penn Harris Madison School Corporation. She loved her pet birds, traveling, reading, sneaking the occasional cookie, and spending time with her grandchildren. Memorial services for Mary will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, July 12, 2015, in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be donated to the American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Road, Suite 140, Indianapolis, IN 46250; or Riley Children's Hospital Foundation, 30 S. Nickerson, Darlene  
Darlene Nickerson Mar. 20, 1951 - June 27, 2015 BREMEN - Darlene Nickerson, age 64, of Bremen, died at 9:12 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 20, 1951 in Bremen to Junior Orville and Betty Eva (Gall) Boyer. She was a lifetime area resident. Darlene had attended Bremen High School. On July 27, 1974, she married Daniel Nickerson in Bremen. Darlene had been the Assistant manager at the Bremen Dairy Queen. Surviving is her husband, Danny; children, William (Alice) Eggert, Plymouth, Susan (Jeff Plummer) Wireman, Nicole (Chad) Selby, both of Clermont, FL, Damian Nickerson, South Bend; grandchildren, William Eggert, Lauren Eggert, Morgan Fritz, C.J. Fritz, Danielle Eggert , Logan Selby, Makayla Selby; and great grandchildren, Alexis Garberson, Landon Garberson, Troy Gunn, and Za'Nilyah Eggert. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Boyer and sister, Marsha Boyer. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bremen. Rev. Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

Noonan, Peter J.  
Peter J. Noonan Sept. 5, 1946 - June 27, 2015 GRANGER - Peter J. Noonan, 68, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Granger, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on September 5, 1946, the son of the late James T. and Margaret (Owens) Noonan. Raised in Lee, Massachusetts, he graduated from the Cranwell Preparatory School. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's of Social Work and a Master's of Business Administration with Concentration in Health Care Management from Boston University. Through his career in health care, he worked in hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts and Savannah, Georgia. In 1985 he joined The Holy Cross Health System in South Bend, Indiana and was a Senior Vice-President at Holy Cross Care Services through 2000. In 2001 he joined the St. Vincent Health System in Little Rock, Arkansas as a member of the executive team. He retired from St. Vincent in 2012. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela (Berrigan) Noonan and two sons, Matthew Noonan (Christy) of Washington, DC and Gregory Noonan of Arlington, Virginia and one cousin, Patricia Macken, of New York City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will occur at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lee, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent Foundation, Two St. Vincent Circle, Little Rock, AR 72205. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, .
