Roberta R. Taylor Jan. 19, 1925 - Nov. 15, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Roberta R. "Bobbie" Taylor, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Bobbie was born on January 19, 1925 in Clinton, IA as the daughter of Ray and Paula (Sanders) Mahannah. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. On June 19, 1965 as the former Roberta Ruth Riley she married William Taylor. He preceded her in death in January of 2001. Bobbie was a Chesterton, IN resident until 2006 when she moved to Mishawaka. Bobbie was a 50 year member of The General Federation of Women's Club. She held numerous offices in the Chesterton Women's Club and is an honorary member of the Club. After moving to this area she became a member of South Bend Progress Club. Bobbie loved playing cards, watching Chicago Bulls games, and seeing her grandchildren. Bobbie is survived by her children, Valerie Riley Plowe of Minnetonka, MN, Laurie Riley (Thom) McCluskey of Shorewood, IL, Hydie Riley (John) Cavoulas of La Mesa, CA, and Scott (Kara) Taylor of Mishawaka, IN; eight grandchildren, Stephani, Sherri, Sandi, Brett, Bobby, Shellee, Jaimie, and Jack; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19th from 4:00-6:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th St., Mishawaka, IN with a 'Celebration of Life' Service beginning at 6:00 pm. Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon (EST) - 11:00 am (CST) - Thursday, November 20 in Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Chesterton General Federation of Women's Club, Chesterton, IN.
