Adeline was born September 22, 1923, in Stevensville, Michigan, to Anton and Clara (Lorenz) Friesl. In 1947, her parents provided the seed money for her then husband, Edward Lowe, to open Edward Lowe Industries in order to begin manufacturing the company's first product, Kitty Litter brand cat box filler, later to be known as Tidy Cat brand cat box filler. From this marriage three daughters and one son were born. Addy, as many friends had called her, loved playing bridge, gardening, music, as well as traveling around the world. She was an all-sports aficionado. Each season she would “Cheer On” her beloved Notre Dame football and basketball teams. Addy was also a devout and active member of Saint Ann's Catholic Church of Cassopolis, Michigan, and lived in Cass for over 71 years. Each fall, she would travel to her beautiful condominium overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Naples, Florida. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. Please share a memory or a message online: wagnercares.com . God Knew That you were Suffering. That the hills were hard to climb So He gently closed your eyelids And whispered “Peace be thine.” In tears we watched you sinking We watched you fade away Our hearts were surely broken You fought so hard to stay But when we saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer that again It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
