Jauneta June DeWulf June 8, 1930 - March 21, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Jauneta June DeWulf, age 83, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Fountainview Place. Jauneta was born June 8, 1930, in Nappanee, Indiana, to the late Eschol and Edna (Herrin) Beach. After graduation from Washington - Clay High School in South Bend, Jauneta married Edward Swald Jr. on June 12, 1948. He preceded her in death, passing away on December 18, 1965. On January 19, 1968, she married Herbert C. DeWulf in Mishawaka, Indiana. Herbert preceded her in death as well, passing away on December 31, 2012. Together, she and Herb raised six children, John Swald Sr. of Elkhart, Ronald Swald of Lakeville, Kathleen (Bruce) Reidenbach of Osceola, Joseph Swald of Mishawaka, Randy (Barb) DeWulf and Kenneth DeWulf, both of South Bend. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Gilbert Beach, Geraldine P. Johnson, and Darlene Beach. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. There will also be one hour of calling prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Cedar Road Missionary Church, 56907 Cedar Road, Osceola, Indiana 46561. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Mrs. DeWulf was employed for 40 years as a machine operator at CTS Corporation in Elkhart, where she belonged to the "Quarter Century Club." She was also a longtime member of Cedar Road Missionary Church and attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Elkhart as well. She enjoyed being outdoors watching the birds, and loved landscaping and working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed playing BUNCO and other games with her friends monthly. She and her husband Herb also enjoyed traveling in the Fall to watch the leaves turn colors. In her memory, donations may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 1608 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
