EAU CLAIRE - Lucille A. Vicini, 88, of Eau Claire, died Thursday evening, December 6, 2012, at Oak Crest Adult Care in Niles. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 11th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet, with Father John Peter Ambrose as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Watervliet. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. Monday, December 10th, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Online messages may be left for the family at www.bowermanfuneral.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Hospice at Home. Lucille was born April 4, 1924, in Chicago, the daughter of Adam and Angeline (Gorny) Tomaszewski. In 1942 she graduated from St. John's High School in Benton Harbor, and on April 10, 1944, she married Roy Vicini in Benton Harbor. In addition to raising their family and working on the family farm, Lucille was employed by Inter City Bank (now Chemical Bank). She is survived by a son, Patrick Vicini of Eau Claire; three daughters, Valerie Keller of Niles, Georgette Lord of Edwardsburg and Theresa Murphy of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Shuler of Benton Harbor. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, on October 1, 1985; a son, Edward, at birth; a sister, Mildred Schultz; and by a brother, Ed Tomaszewski.
