Naomi L. Clauser Oct. 25, 1928 - July 8, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Naomi L. Clauser, 85, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 7:48 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in her home. She was born on October 25, 1928, in South Bend, IN, to the late Albert Max and Garnett (Wyatt) Norman. On October 22, 1950, in South Bend, IN, she was united in marriage to Warren E. Clauser Jr., who preceded her in death on November 19, 2010. Mrs. Clauser is survived by her daughter, Susan (Joe) Hohe of Ft. Wright, KY; son, Ron (Janine) Clauser of Plymouth, IN; grandchildren, Rebecca, Meredith and Caitlin Hohe, Rachel (Jason) Jacobs and Sarah (Andy) Jenkins; four great-grandchildren, Sophie, Isaac, Paige and Ella; and sister-in-law, Floann Norman of Sun City, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Keith and Kenneth Norman. Mrs. Clauser moved to South Bend, IN, in the early 60s. She lived in St. Joseph, MI, for six years. She was a graduate of Riley High School and earned a Bachelor and Master degree from IUSB. She was a teacher at Greene School for thirty years. She also spent fifteen years as a nurse. Mrs. Clauser was a member of Gospel Center Missionary Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Gospel Center Missionary Church, 930 S. 30th Street, South Bend. Dr. Robert Morris will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, July 11, 2014, in the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, as well as one hour prior to services Saturday at church. Contributions in memory of Naomi L.
