MISHAWAKA - William Blaylock, 81, of Wyckoff, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. Born in Lepanto, AR, he grew up in Mishawaka and lived in Waldwick, NJ for 34 years before moving to Wyckoff, NJ in 1989. Bill was a Technical Service Training Manager for Mercedes Benz of North America for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Patricia, his daughters Sherri and her husband John Lange, and Christine Blaylock and 2 grandchildren, Kelsey and Justin Lange. He is also survived by his siblings Mary Dee and Robert Blaylock and his nieces and nephews Kurt, Dona, Michael and Amy. The family will receive friends on Saturday 2-4 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Service will he held on Saturday at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

"Billy" and I played together when he lived on Stanley St in Mishawaka, we were back door neighbors. All of us neighborhood boys enjoyed when the walnuts fell . It was our "job" to throw the nuts in their husks up on the roof so the husks could dry.

My deepest condolences to Bill's family. I worked for Bill as a Training Instructor from 1979 until 1999 at the San Francisco Training Center. I have many great memories with Bill my trips to Montvale and of course to Germany. Bill was a fantastic boss and cared about his employees.
