Bette Barron Obituary

March 25, 1920 - July 20, 2013
MISHAWAKA - Bette Barron, 93, of South Bend, passed away peacefully July 20, 2013. Born March 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sylvia (Souber) Sinton. On Aug. 25, 1940, Bette married the love of her life, Justin Barron. He preceded her in death in 1990. Left to cherish her memory are 5 children, Harry Barron of FL, Dr. Sherry (David) Barron-Seabrook of NJ, Terry (Carolyn) Barron of OK, Jeri-Sue (Leo) Barron Batura of TX and Kerry Jonathan "Jon" Barron of Mishawaka; 9 grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Bette was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member for many years at Temple Beth-El, where she had been a part of Sisterhood, Hadassah and the UJA. She was also past president of B'nai Brith. She will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26th, at 11:00 AM at the McGann Hay, Forest G. Hay Chapel, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Center for Hospice Care. To send condolences, please visit www.McGannHay.com.

Bette was a bright star in the world who touched a lot of lives in positive ways. She we will be missed by many. I will always know she touched my life and made me grow and gave me self confidence. May she have a blessed new journey and be with Justin.
