FORT WAYNE - Frank Lax Jr., 65, of Fort Wayne, IN, formerly of South Bend, IN, died April 25, 2017. Frank Lax Jr. was born March 12, 1952, in South Bend, IN, to Velma and Frank Lax, Sr. He was educated in the South Bend Community School Corporation. Frank enjoyed tinkering with electronics, beginning with the tube circuit board thru the modern mother board. As a pastime, he enjoyed fishing with friends and family over the years. Frank was a former employee of Best Buy in their electronics department. He is survived by his companion of many years, Barbara Medina of Fort Wayne, IN; three sons, John and Yolanda Washington, Carl and Rosemary Washington, and Leonard Lax, all of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Donna and Lee Haynes and Pamela and Bruce Pfeiffer, both of South Bend, IN; seven brothers, Herbert Lax, David Lax, Ronald Lax, Darryl Lax, all of South Bend, IN, Arthur and Tommie Ann Lax of Kankakee, IL, Durrell Lax of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Jerry and Carolyn Lax of Waco, TX; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 noon at Abundant Faith Family Ministries Church, 833 30th Street, South Bend, IN 46615. Apostle James B.
