SOUTH BEND - Kyron Ryon Deshawn Baker, age 18, died unexpectly on September 26, 2016, in South Bend, IN.

Kyron is survived by his mother, Sharia Howell of South Bend, IN; his father, Robert Baker III of South Bend, IN; his sisters, Kyra Brazier, Ivunia Brazier, Anesah Brazier, Kennedy Howell, Amyrah Baker, Kennedy Scott and Khloe Roby, of South Bend, IN; his brothers, Kylon Chism, Keyon Chism, Robert Baker IV, and Ameer Baker, of South Bend, IN; girlfriend, Jasmine Khatthavong who is expecting their first child; grandmothers, Jennetta Hairston, Minnie Howell-bey and Sandra Champer; grandfather, Robert Baker Jr; great- grandmothers, Versia Hairston and Elizabeth Howell; great-grandfather, John Hairston (Linda Hairston); aunts, Shalonda Howell, Shaquia Hairston, Kawana Howell, Gemini Howell-bey, NaTasha Howell, Henrietta Howell, Tequilla Wolfing, Dominique Anderson August Howell-bey, Jacques Horton, Latoya Sample, Kirstin Boyd, Alise Baker and Kennetha Anderson; and uncles, William Howell-bey, Terrance Baker, Chris Baker, JP Champer and Chris Champer. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Darnell Howell-bey; his great-grandfather, Charles Howell; his aunt, Chertrice Mayes; his great-aunts, Nancy Howell and Quincy Heflin; and his cousins, Kirston Hairston, Ly'ren Coleman and Bryaun Slatton-Rios.

Kyron leaves behind a host of family and friends. Russell Spencer Jr., Nashon Norman, Navon Long, Bruce Butler, Jessie Lottie Jr. and Dreshawn Harris held a special place in his heart.

Kyron Baker was born on November 7, 1997 in South Bend, IN, to parents Sharia Howell and Robert Baker III.

His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, caring and kind- hearted person. Kyron would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was full of life. He loved to make everyone smile and had the utmost respect for his elders. Kyron had a work ethic of an elder. He set goals for himself and made sure he reached them. He was a man of his word. He had a smile from ear to ear that would light up the room. Kyron loved to look after his siblings and cousins. He enjoyed bringing joy to others. He will be dearly missed by many.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pentecostal Cathedral with a reception to follow at the Amvest post 66. The family would like to thank everyone for all of your condolences and love during this trying time.
