Geneva Pauline Kelsheimer Aug. 26, 1919 - May 4, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Former South Bend resident Geneva Pauline Kelsheimer, 94, died Sunday May 4, 2014 in Westwoods of Niles Nursing Center. She was born August 26, 1919 in Eldorado, IL to the late Violet Edith and William Ernest Oglesby. On December 24, 1942 in Terre Haute, IN she married George E. Kelsheimer who died in 1984. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Nelson, in 2009. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Kelsheimer of South Bend and Karla Smith (Hiram) of Sonora, KY; her son, Kevin Kelsheimer (Rose) of Edwardsburg, MI; 11 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters in IL; and 1 brother in Evansville, IN. Pauline worked in the Kitchen at Eggleston School for many years and was an excellent cook. She was a member of the Michiana Rock and Gem Society, loved playing Bingo, was an accomplished seamstress and was a member of Northway Church of Christ since 1960. Pauline was a very loving mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. Pastor Edgar D. Erskin will officiate. Committal services and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday May 8, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral home.
