June 30, 1937 - Sept. 29, 2013 SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Patty Ruth (Bonds) Fuller, who resided on West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013, in her residence at the age of 76. On June 30, 1937, in Brownsville, Tennessee, Patty Ruth was born to Lee and Adeline (Mabry) Bonds. Coming from Brownsville, she moved to South Bend, Indiana, where she lived for 50 years. She was employed by the University of Notre Dame from which she retired. Patty Ruth and Thomas Fuller were married in South Bend on May 29, 1971, and he preceded her in death. Survivors left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Waffer Morton; three sons, Charles Edward (Jacqueline) Morton and Thomas Brown, all of South Bend, and Claudis (Mary) Morton of Decatur, Illinois; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, LaVerne Standback of St. Louis, Missouri, and Frankie Jean Douglas of Brownsville, Tennessee; along with other relatives and friends. Loved-ones who preceded her in death include her parents, Lee and Adeline Bonds; her husband, Thomas Fuller; one son, John Otis Morton; and a sister, Evelyn Blair; one grandchild and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Fuller will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Alford's Mortuary, where arrangements have been entrusted. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
