Stacy Cooreman July 5, 1981 - Dec. 24, 2014 HERMITAGE, TN - Stacy Marie Cooreman, 33, formerly of New Carlisle, passed away at 6:50 am Wednesday, December 24, 2014, in Benzie County, Michigan. Stacy was born July 5, 1981, in South Bend, to Marcell and Judy (Horvath) Cooreman. Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marcell C. and Erma Cooreman, and Steve and Rose Horvath. She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Cheryl (Brad) Hartman of White Pigeon, MI, and Dana Cooreman of New Hartford, NY; uncles and aunts, Richard (Jeannine) Horvath, Allen (Gay) Horvath, Marjorie Flatt, and Rosie (Frank) DeMarco; numerous cousins; and her soon to be fianc‚, Jeff Killen of Mt. Juliet, TN. Stacy was a graduate of New Prairie High School and The University of Dayton. Stacy was eight months away from earning her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Stacy was a health systems analyst with Vanderbilt University. She was the Healthcare MBA Chair of the Massey Graduate Council at Belmont University; and active with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society; Communication Committee for American College of Health Care Executives, and Healthcare Financial Management Association. At the University of Dayton, she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Golden Key International Honor Society. Stacy was very active and always looking for a challenge. She enjoyed playing tennis in multiple leagues, running races including half marathons, hiking, snowmobiling, listening to country music, attending concerts, wine and beer tasting, motorcycling, biking, and she had a love for traveling and animals. Stacy touched many people's lives with her wit, kindness and personality. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Visitation for Stacy will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN 46619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America Tennessee Chapter, 116 Wilson Pike Circle #205, Brentwood, TN 37027.
