Harold W. Bishop June 12, 1943 - May 9, 2014 OSCEOLA - Harold William Bishop, 70, of Osceola, passed away at 2:10 pm Friday, May 9, 2014, in Elkhart County Hospice House surrounded by family. Harold was born on June 12, 1943, the son of the late Rosco and Tressa (McQuillen) Bishop. On Jan. 28, 1965, he married Laura Gail Marvel. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Laura Gail; and their three children, Lisa Bishop of Osceola, Bill Bishop of Osceola and Joseph (fiance Allison Jones) Bishop of Granger. He is also survived by brother, Ray Bishop of Niles, and two sisters, Sue (Larry) McCartney of Mishawaka and Ethel Rodgers of Florida. Harold was the owner and operator of County Line Towing. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to sing karaoke and listen to country music. He was also into restoring muscle cars. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Monday, May 12, 2014, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in the funeral home, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chaplain Steve Coyle will officiate.
