Marjorie Matilda Greenawalt June 22, 1933 - June 5, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Marjorie Matilda Greenawalt, 80, of Mishawaka, IN passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, with her family at her bedside, at the Michiana Health & Rehabilitation, in Mishawaka. Marge was born on June 22, 1933 in Elkhart, IN to the late Pasquale and Francis (Lentin) Polino. Marge is survived by her two sons, Larry (Joan) Greenawalt of Matthews, North Carolina and David Greenawalt of South Bend, IN, along with a sister, Katherine Kluczynski of South Bend, IN. Marge is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Polino, and two sisters, Mary Nichols and Josephine Kytta. Marge was a loving and caring grandmother to 8 grandchildren, Shay Nothstine, Job, Anna, Mary, David, Patrick (Amanda), Joni Greenawalt and Jennifer Grubb, along with 6 great grandchildren. Marge enjoyed roller skating, dancing and most of all playing a good card game of pinochle. She loved spending time with her family, had a great sense of humor and hysterically made people laugh. Marge retired as Custodian personnel from the Mishawaka Parks Department after many years of service. Marge also held position at the University Of Notre Dame and the Battell Center in Mishawaka. She worked very hard supporting her children and was extremely proud of her independence throughout her whole life. Marge was a past member of the Eagles Senior Group at New Wings of Faith Church and later attended Christian Center in South Bend. She was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with her whole heart. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Monday, June 9, 2014, with two hours visitation prior at the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
