John Troutman March 4, 1931 - June 22, 2014 LAKEVILLE - John C. Troutman, 83, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. John was born March 4, 1931, in Kokomo, to the late William and Elizabeth (Durham) Troutman. John was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Jim Troutman. On November 7, 1959, in South Bend, John married Marlene (Michalski), who survives along with their children, Pam (Jim) Miles of Ontonagon, MI, and Vince (Crystal Cooper) Troutman of Osceola; grandchildren, Jimmy (Danielle Hepfer) Miles of Cloverdale, IN, Donny (Lauren Armstrong) Miles of Ontonagon, MI, Andrew (Dayna Curry) Troutman of Osceola; great-grandchildren, Aydan Miles of Ontonagon, MI, and Bralynn Troutman. He is also survived by a niece, Cecelia (Kevin) McCoy; nephews, Tom (Cindy) Troutman and Bill (Pam) Troutman. John honorably served is country in the United States Army. He retired from Bendix / Honeywell after 44 years as a Class A Machinist. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. John was a former hockey coach for IYHL; he enjoyed fishing on Lake Superior, playing Pinnacle, Euchre, and going to the Casino. John and his family enjoyed camping in Wisconsin every summer. Visitation for John will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, June 26, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
