Dale R. Davis Feb. 6, 1926 - June 29, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Dale R. Davis, 88, of Mishawaka, passed away at Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, Indiana. He was born on February 6, 1926, on a farm near Bremen, Indiana, to Albert and Maude (Clindaniel) Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn L. (Cliff) Young. Also surviving are one grandson, Ernest (Tammy) DeWitt Jr.; one sister, Thelma Rader; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter. He graduated from Bremen High School. He served in the United States Air Force. October 20th, 1950, he married Neva Heinke. She preceded him in death on September 27th, 1991. He worked in sales, retiring from P.D.H. Office Products. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity in South Bend, Indiana. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Neva Davis; one sister, Helen (Davis) McGowen; and one great-grandson, Matthew R. DeWitt. There will be no visitation. Dale's wishes were to be cremated and his family has honored his wishes. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 12th, at 12:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 915 North Olive Street, South Bend. His cremated remains will be buried at Bremen Cemetery in a private service. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity.
